Anybody have one of these?

No. But I wish I did.

I've got a Henry BBS .45 Colt that I like more every time I shoot it. I also have a Ruger #1 .45-70 that I love. Sooooo, it's sorta hard to say I NEED the Henry .45-70.

I've handled a few Henry All Weathers and liked them. I don't fret the loading gate thing and don't really care about scouring the interweb looking for a Marlin made during the Reagan administration or whatever.

Easy scope mounting. Accurate. Good heft. Good recoil pad. Not too pretty. Seems well made for what it's supposed to do.

I shall now sit patiently and watch this thread............
I have owned more Marlin lever rifles but I have owned 3 Henry H010 45-70 rifles and every one was more accurate than any of My Marlin rifles (336's and 1895's) the Fit and finish on the Henry rifles were all all top-notch....If I were in the market I would most likely buy an H010AW......Good luck...Hb

Thanks a lot I handled one in 30-30 and your right fit and finish was great just a little skeptical on the tube
Target Suite on Youtube has one and reviewed it favorably.

Ha! I like the tube better than a loading gate Myself, I guess its just your personal preference which you like best....Hb

If you buy it contact Henry and they will send you another tube for free, they did for me anyway on all 3 Henry rifles I have. I called or emailed and requested one.

The Henry has a coating on the out side. Inside the bore there is no protection. This is not "All Weather." My Marlin XLR stainless 45-70 is all weather & shoots great with my own cast bullets which is all I shoot. If Henry ever decides to make a real all weather stainless rifle then I may look at one. In my part of the country I may need to hunt in nasty cold wet conditions . This is where real stainless protection shines, inside & out.
If you like it go for it. For me the only lever guns I care for without a side gate are the Savages and Brownings. I know, totally different animals and not big bores, so I stick to Marlins and Winchesters. Also don't care for the finish they use, the case color side gate is appealing to me though.
