I ordered a .32-20 replaced barrel for my 1894CL from Numrich and it does not remotely resemble the barrel on the rifle. It was supposed to be 22" like the original; it's 20 1/2". The front of the barrel is drilled and tapped rather than dovetailed to receive the sight. The dovetail for the the magazine tube is none existant but there are two half-round cut outs of unknown purpose.

Great sadness on this end. Numrich says just send it back for a refund, but I'm still disappointed.
Sounds like you got the wrong barrel. The front holes are for a ramp with a dovetail for the sight. The other half round cutouts are for barrel band screws. Almost sounds like a 336 barrel but I think some 1894's have the ramp front sight.
I dont know what Numrich gets for barrels but you might want to check with Marlin, they may have them.
Sounds typical for Numrich. Either out of stock, or the wrong piece. I stopped buying much from them for this very reason.
The last straw was when I ordered a replacement pawl for my Colt SAA, and it came without the spring! When I called them and asked them to send me a spring, they told me they would need the old pawl back. I had to pay shipping back to them, and when they sent me the new pawl with spring, they charged me shipping!
I called them, and told them it would be a cold day in Haites, before I paid them shipping twice for the same part, or bought from them again.
