Can't seem to find cup maximum pressure on this 20 inch octagon rifle. New rifle and no internet info from Henry. Will it handle hot cor Bon ammo
It will, but like any other hot load - higher pressures causes more wear than lower pressure. I doubt you will shoot very many of them anyway.

The .45 colt is plenty capable without going to +P+ loads.
I'm loading around 11 grains of unique under 250 xtp until I can get some more lead bullets. Seems soft and easy. Want to hold around 1100 fps. Got to order some lswc

I appreciate that information. Gather by your user name that you like Tikkas. I have 4 and think they can't be beat.

when you run outta Unique........try Universal.........

seems Marlins have taken over the Tikka's for me......
You referring to universal clays?? Know the single action shooters here like it but I've yet to find any local.

Dardas is out of business, not taking orders.

SnS casting has some great bullets.
A little late here. You could try Missouri Bullets. I shoot the 250g5 RNFP coated bullets thru my Henry. Works just fine.
11.0gr Unique? That seems a mite steep. I'm running 8.5gr Unique. Easy on rifle. 1125 MV and accurate.
