I believe they did. That and the .480 92s. I've been looking for a .480, but don't want to pay Gunbroker prices. Good luck on your search.

They quit making everything but .357 and .45 Colt. They only made 100 .480 Ruger models and likely somewhere around 1000 .454's.

I'm very surprised they quit the 44 mag.

Hello , this is my first post, have been lurking for 10 yrs, I called Steve's Gun's about a month ago to buy parts, he told me that he had three 454's in stock that he had just found and still had to custom work on them. I have two Rossi 92 and love them, I also have Marlin 94 JM, and Henry 30/30 , like them all !!!

Not much traffic on the lever forum. Why not go over to the Campfire Forum and introduce yourself?

Good evening gents, Bill here, I have a Rossi in 454 casull! In Canada A.dam. I don't know what's required to get it to the USA but it is an older one with no safety. Really nice bluing, almost unbelievable to see it on a Rossi. The wood is very plane though. Would look reeel good with a nice walnut handle. Would a replacement for a Winchester 92 work??? Don't know what it's worth but it would be less in your currency USA funds. I've only used it to shoot frogs for fun. It shoots 300 xtps & Barnes 250 xpbs good. No I don't shoot frogs with them. I use 250 cast bullets for that, somewhat cheaper. If you can get it down there be my guest. I'm looking for a 17 fireball, LH or single shot, maybe we can make a trade. I think 17 fireballs are harder to find than 454s??? I may just give up & order a. Contender. Anyway it's here if ya can get it there??? Bill out. πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

The newer ones must be junk.I have one in.357 I probably bought 25 years ago when Interarms was selling them. I took it apart, smoothed the action and have never had problem with it. It is nice little carbine that rides well in a smaller saddle scabbard. A few years later, I bought one in4 4 mag ,but ended up giving it to my brother. My niece has it now for PA whitetails. I used both in Cowboy Action matches without any glitches

I've owned two of them, but none in .454 Casull. They have gone through a lot of changes over the years and as I understand it now both Rossi and Taurus are under the same roof. Some options such as various finishes have been discontinued. I owned one of the older stainless rifles with 24 octagon barrel that was marketed by Navy Arms. It was pretty much true to the originals with no "Lawyer Safeties" My second one was also a 24 octagon barreled rifle but with case hardened finish which is sadly no longer available from them. It was marked Legacy Sports International and had the safety lever added to the top of the bolt. Both of mine were in .45 Colt

I love my Iegacy Puma SS 20 inch brl. In 454 casull. 340 gr. Hard cast at 1800 fps. Lots of power for a 6 lb. Rifle.
