Rossi model 92 in 357 next to an 1892 Winchester .38-40 made in 1903. We have to find new furniture for the Winny as one of the previous owners did it no favors. But for $500 who cares?

.
The fore end wood came in different lengths. If you buy wood, be sure it;s right. I measure the old wood, receiver to end cap, and buy accordingly.

Dang,,,, looks pretty great.... I learned to deer hunt with an old 92 in .38/40. Never got a deer with it bit I did get my first rifle-shot fox squirrel with it. Plenty of gun for the job.

Thanks kid. This gun will get out hunting this year. I can remember my Granddad hunting deer and bear with his Marlin 38-40.

I remember those fat, flat, 180 grain rounds. Great memories, and plenty of gun at brush country ranges for deer.
