For a Marlin 39M (different than a 39A).
should put this in classified section.
adjust your title to "Scope base needed For a Marlin 39M"
might help some.
There is a seller on ebay who has original steel scope bases...I bought two for $13.00 each. I believe he has more.
Do you know the number? I think I may have one in my box-o-junk. It's a pretty substatial hunk of steel with cross-slots and grooves. If I can find it, you can have it. I had a Mountie myself once, but used a peep sight.
I gotta start checking the dates on these things. It appears our OP has moved on.
I found the base, but it's AL-U- minyum, not steel. I also have a Weaver 90, that's very similar, but a bit higher.
I really need to clear out some of this crap so my children won't have to.
