My dad gave me this rifle on Christmas day, 1975. He picked it up on sale on Christmas Eve at Service Merchandise in the mall & my big brother bought me a 500 round brick of Winchester Super X 22LR. I have two sons who drool over this rifle, mainly because of the backstory. This started my love affair with Marlin lever guns.

Yes, and it's a sweet, little plinker too. There's just something special about a lever gun in 22 as it is, but when your dad gives it to you on Christmas day, it's a whole new level of significance.
