Are you a smaller man like me, or maybe have a young growing hunter?

I have a very good condition pair of Russell Moccasin "South 40 Birdshooter" boots. Size 8.5D

I haven't worn them much, especially since my feet have swollen some. I would do better in a 8.5E. These boots new now cost $755!

Does Russell still make custom boots ? I started hunting in 1956. And those were the boots my grandfather had me wear. Very comfortable. Can't use them now because everything I hunt is in steep, rocky terrain. E

I got Signature South 40's made to my measurements 4 years ago for something like $500. I wouldn't have done that but my wife had given me a gift certificate for them. At the time off the shelf pricing was like $425.

Nothing beats nice well made comfortable boots.
