I could use a little help here. I have a 14 year old nephew who wants to do some duck hunting. The boy lives in Elk River, MN. I will be in Elk River on Sept 28 and 29. I can supply him with a shotgun, decoys, calls and advice. However, I have nowhere to go. I would like to find a small slough on private ground that will not have much competition to worry about. I understand some of the public areas in MN get very crowded with waterfowlers.

<br>If you can help, I would be glad to trade for some pheasant hunting in SE SD. We have some CRP ground down here and the pheasants appear to be doing well this year.

<br>From a timing standpoint it works out better for me to go up there. Also, $100 for a NR license sounds a little steep. It sounds like they might be in this area around Christamas, so we might take him out for the youth deer at that time. With any luck, we will make him into a nice well rounded hunter.
