What do you while hunting upland birds?

I keep losing the small inserts.

Hocks Noise Brakers in molded silicone plugs.

I've been using Walker Silencers the last couple of years. Prior to that was a set of ESP in the ear plugs but they finally gave up the ghost after nearly 20 years.

Molded in-the-ear digital protection. A little spendy initially but not compared to needing hearing aids later. They will not fall out. Ten years and going.

I should get so many shots that it mattered.

Actually I'd go with what George said. On the range, trap or rifle/pistol, it's always muffs or properly fitting plugs.

These are westone (they almost invented hearing aids)... I was using walker game ears for years loosing them, having them go bad....

I finally used my corp. medical cafeteria account... I think these were 800 for the set, and they are molded to my ears so they NEVER fall out.
They don’t go above the level that can hurt your hearing like the Walkers do (why walkers aren’t sold by audiologists)... but they amp enough that it’s like I’m not wearing them.

Frankly I hated “not hearing” - it’s dangerous...
I also hated things being cranked too high / loud.

These are just right.
