Someday maybe these kids will learn to clean them instead of just taking pics with them. smile
There are a lot of good pics in this thread, it was a great idea. I will find some more, plenty around. The gun in my pic there is a Citori in 16ga. I use 16ga almost exclusively, several will show up from time to time in my pictures.
I have some short clips to put up. Is youtube the only way to do that?

April 2019 -- Preserve Hunt Mic is 16, deaf and no teeth. This was her only hunt for 2019 and she found a bird left over from the previous day - different group. She loves upland hunting and perhaps if everything works out she will get a hunt again in a very controlled setting this year at 17.

Wyocoyotehunter, Nice! That was good day, for sure. Couple of good meals there.

Man look at the forearm wood on that A5... nice gun.

In the old days Browning would re-blue a entire A-5 for $75 bucks.... I doubt that is the case anymore.

Either way these new light weight guns don’t pull up like the older ones, even the benelli SBE and M2’s are well balanced, but the ultralight is so light you have to pull it up differently.

Looks like you guys had a good time.
Here’s my Britt with some pheasant and quail

She's a grand old girl. Thank you for sharing her with someone who loves all these dogs, and especially old friends.

Hmmm, looks familiar.... grin

Great pics duksdog. In addition for the others, that shotgun is like a lightening quick well balanced saber...."A swordsman chooses his weapon with care" most certainly applies here....
Cheers for the little squirts that get it done....

We just let the good times roll, my friend. wink

If the dogs have fun so do we. A few birds are a bonus.

Woody at 9 months with his first birds. He didn't know what we were doing at first, but by the third bird it became FUN!

Sometimes my GSP Jake's jewels would look like that after a hard day of green briers and cut overs. God I miss him.
Great pictures, all. It really makes me miss my Britts. No more dogs for me, unfortunately.
Dye7, good looking hound. Lot of heart I am sure.

Grew up with a couple of Britts over 25 years so so. Soft spot in my heart for them.

For sure. Huge prey drive. But for now he's a sleepy boy

I especially like this one. It really captures the "hunt" in the breed...always looking...always using his nose.

Montana wild birds note three different color variations. Trooper the wonder dog, ducks and geese on the coast, pheasant and quail inland, sharpies and huns in MT and grouse and woodcock in WI, he lived to hunt.
