My boss got a replica HighWall in .45-70 but doesn't think he'll have time to work up a black-powder (or pyrodex) load before hunting season, so he's looking for some factory BP (or Pyro, if need be) fodder. I researched all the B.P. cartridge and cowboy-action-shooting ammo makers I could find (there's sometimes slack time working security). He e-mailed the ones that appeared to have other-than-smokeless loads, and all were US based and cannot ship ammo (or certain parts, even!) to Canada. Does anyone know of any Canadian CAS manufacturers or custom loaders that he could try? He has a smokeless load for his Marlin Guide Gun (his close-quarters gun) but wants to go traditional with the HighWall.
