gunner

I had a good time with them! That one you got is plum deadly with a 800 grainer out to 1000 yards using 116 grs. KIK 2F!!

This is ten shots I fired one afternoon testing the above load and all ten shots would have been inside the inner plate of this target which is 20" diameter if I had taken a min of windage but I was just testing for how good it would hold vertical. As it was it would have been a 98! Vertical for all ten was around 7.5"!

Hell of a group there Sharpsman, I found that KAL 50 cal mould and thought it would let out to 800 grains, that said, and balls to the wall loads in each, I don't see how the big 45's can hang with the big 50, we all know trajectory is math, and fairly easy to repeat on a given day and shooting conditions, but, wind is the voodoo, 800 grains at like or more velocity is NOT going to be blown around like lesser bullets.

And, that Big 50 I just got from Sharpsman fired a 5 inch four shot group on my 500 yard steel gong, i'll take that any day with 57 year old eyes and a buckhorn ladder barrel sight. cool that bullet was a 750 grain grease groove at 16 to 1 alloy over 110 grains of OE FFG Black.
