I guess the wait times will be a little longer withe Shiloh closing for the COVID-19 debacle. I hope for their sake it is not too long. I can wait a little longer.

I'd rank that plant as a critical industry. It's Big Timber, Montana for Christ's sake. They've probably not seen a virus for decades.

Well crap, that sucks, I had a wedding anniversary trip to take Wife on another African safari booked, the kung fu flu is more than likely going to trash that for this year, hope they get your rifle built and to you in time to work up a load for next falls hunting.

What is the current wait time? When I bought & received my 45-110, it was 5 weeks short of 5 years.

Not sure on wait times. Being the impatient person that I am I order through Bill Goodman so it is usually only a few months

My last one was about four years ago. Wait was I believe 15 months.

17 months out on a octagon barrel gun, they are just finishing a rd barrel run and the bull barrel run is starting soon. Rumor has it that they will have some gun inventory guns on the rack by mid May. MB

Still have a S. Sharps 45 2.1 with an Axtell sight. Used to have an early
Farmingdale .50 Long Range. Should have kept it. Now have the Sharps with an 1885 Winchester in 45-60
made in 1887. The rifle and bore are still in good shape.

Hey guys,

There are a couple of ways to drastically shorten the typical 4 or 5 year wait when ordering a Shiloh Sharps. The most common method is to purchase one from Bill Goodman as previously noted. The other method is to win a certificate from Shiloh at a state, regional or national match. Shiloh is well-known for donating $2000 certificates to specific matches. Besides the monetary value, possibly even more valuable is the shortened wait time. When an order is placed using the certificate the work starts immediately and, depending on the features ordered and work required, you can have the rifle in hand in 4 or 5 months. It may take a little longer if you request engraving.

I was fortunate to win a certificate at the 2017 Texas State match. Shiloh confirmed my order on 5/16/17 and I received a Shiloh Sharps 1874 chambered in .40-65 Win. on 10/4/17. BTW, some match directors award the certificate to match winners and others offer a chance for all the shooters in a match to win the certificate via a drawing.
