Jake is working on our 47 Jeep. How would you go about putting a roll bar on?

I would look at Rockhard 4x4

Another good kit can be found at Extreme custom parts.

Simple roll bar or cage? If simple roll bar I’d look up your local fab shop that can bend pipe and see what they’d charge to make one up for you. The online suppliers are good if you want to weld things up yourself.

Post some pics of your Jeep! Must be a 2A? I’m obsessed with old flat fender jeeps!

We have had a few, plus a couple others that I have not yet downloaded.

Personally, I would do a cage.

IMHO a roll bar that isn't tied into the frame isn't anything. My 46 willys had a full cage done by a shop that built race cars. It was worth it, as my oldest son tried it out.

I had a 75 Cj5 first and sold it. It had a factory bar but it wasn't much more than a decoration. My second was a 76 years later and the factory bar went down the road in favor of a cage. It was a kit, and tying it into the frame wasn't bad.
