They seem like decent tires. But, I should have done my research.

These tires appear to be made in two countries. Thailand or China.

They will be exchanged for the new Toyo A/T III.

I put the Falken Wildpeak AT3's on my F150 a few months ago. Made in Thailand. Good so far but we haven't really had a good snow to judge them yet. Wet traction is great.

Falkens have a good reputation for the most part. Owned by the Japanese, I would bet they have good QC at their China plants unlike the Chinese tire companies. Plenty of US made tires out there so I run US made.

I've been happy with my AT3's

I tried the Wildpeak AT3's, based on reviews and they were garbage. Took them back to the tire shop after 10 miles and had them pull them off and install Goodyear Duratracs. The Duratrac handles better and is quieter on the road. Much much better tire IMHO...

What size pick-up? A friend has a Falkens on his 1 ton Ford and likes them and I had Duratracs on my 1 ton RAM and hated them. I just wonder if the pick-up weight and the tire rating had something to do with you not liking them and him liking his.

Duratrack’s are supposed to have a real soft feeling sidewall, which some folks complain about on heavier 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

And they wear out fast.

Apparently Falken recently changed the rubber compound on the AT3W. They went from being one of the best all-terrain tires overall, and in snow, to one of the worst. But, I don't think this spec change affected the Trail.

Wildpeak AT3 are great tires, I’ve ran them on several 1500 and 2500 trucks. The non LT rated tires are better for ice and snow (different compound) but overall they are great tires.

I don't have any experience with those tires, but I wonder if you had the first gen of the AT3W. Joe Bacal, professional test driver and industry consultant, posted that the AT3W compound changed for the worse just recently for the subsequent gen. He said that the AT3W was one of his favorite tires, until Falken changed the compound.

I'm not sure you could give a set of garbage goodyears. I'd pick Falken over those any day.

And you can say, "Look at my new Falken tires. They're Falken great."

We put a set of the wild peak at3w's 10 ply on my wife's Tundra. I will not be buying them again. They handle good, give a good ride and aren't overly noisy on the highway, but they have not held air from day one and they aren't holding up to the gravel road worth a damn. Now with at least 3/4 tread they are chewed up enough that she is having flats at least once a week. No more Fallen tires at our place

You got a set of counterfeits or lemons. I been all over Gods creation on some real rugged terrain and thousands of miles of rock and gravel roads on my AT3’s. Nary a hiccup.

Have a set of Falken Wildpeak H/T on my daughter's Jeep. More of a all-season but surprisingly good in the snow.
