Has any one here had this done to the 6.7 Cummings. I have a 2016 Ram 3500 with 120k and wondering about weather it's worth the cost.

What issues are you having with your truck?
Posted By: Ridgewalker Re: Bullet proof diesel - 06/21/21
Haven't had any problems so far. But I've heard that the EGR system can be problematic with the factory system. The truck gets mainly highway use over here. In looking at the stock system compared to the factory it seems like the upgrade might be an improvement. Looks to be about 1200 to 1500 for the replacement. So just wondering if anyone else has made the change.

Are you referring to an emissions delete?

No delete. I've thought about that but Murphy's law would bite me in the azz. This is the upgrade EGR cooler system.

I have a 2006 Ford with the 6.0 that is bulletproofed. It runs like a raped ape. Lots of power. The factory 6.0 had a head gasket issue and an EGR issue but bulletproofing takes care of that and is a lot cheaper than dropping $60K on a new truck.

Is "bullet proofing" a generic term or is there specifics for a 6.0 bulletproofing?
