Whats is good/bad about this combo in a 4WD 2016 Model
: 8-SPEED AUTOMATIC (845RE)
ENGINE: 3.6L V6 24V VVT

Anything to avoid . . . Issues
Can't comment on the reliability. I would personally chose the rear end gear ratio carefully. With the 3.92 it's a sweet little package. I drove a couple of them with 3.55 and it felt pretty flat and unresponsive. I live at 6,000 ft, though, and that could make a difference.
I have a 2015 ram 1500 big horn 4x4 with the V6 8 spd transmission, has 50000 miles and has been an excellent truck both on and off road, love the V6 has plenty of power and gets pretty decent gas mileage, recent trip to Montana we got 21.4 miles per gallon. Hunted in 10-16 inches of snow and never got stuck, other truck on the trip got stuck several times. The original Goodyear tires were junk and they were replaced with BRG load range D all terrain tires.
I have a 98 and it has the 3:55 differential in it. I haven't had an instance where I lacked the power going over passes in Colorado running 16-17,000 pounds. My buddy has a 2003.It can out pull mine, but not by much .

Here is a good web site for Dodge info.

Saddlesore,

He means a V6,
I think you are talking a whole different animal.
