Anybody have any experiance with the misalanous Truck Bed Tents. Thought something like this would be a good idea for a quick one nighter on the beach or out in the desert for just me and the wife. Curious as to whether they are as good as they look, or just another miss-represented item to throw your money away on? Also would appreciate any input on the stability of the numerous brands of ramps for ATV's that are out on the market. Now that I have a full size truck, I'm thinking why pull a trailer.

I've been browsing through a Cabela's catalog again. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

For a ramp, I use a home made version of these ramp ends from Cabelas. I used 2 7' 2x10's and bolted some bent steel on the ends to hang on the tailgate. IMPORTANT: I put an eyebolt in the side of each ramp with a chain that hooks of the hitch ball. That keeps them from kicking back and dumping you. A dangerous way to go is just using the boards lying on the tailgate. The tires can easily knock a board off the gate. These brackets are 500% safer.

I don't know about the tents. I have a high fiberglass shell on mine. It's tall enough for my atv to go inside so I drive it as far up the ramp as I can, then I rigged a pully to pull it in. It's not as handy as just driving in, but in many cases it's handier than pulling a trailer. I often do use a trailer, though, because it's too hard to get my camping gear in around the atv. It just depends on the situation.
