Anyone ever hunt area 22?

Ferris Mountains? Yes I have, I took a nice 6x6 on the 4th day of the season in 2001. It was a tough hunt. Terrain is straight up and straight down. Lots of elk and few hunters until deer season opens.
You got lucky, 22 is a tough tag to draw. Congrats.

Oh I didn't draw it. I know a guy that did. So in your opinion he better get to it before Oct 15th?

He thought about bow hunting it, but he'll probably just scout in September and hunt rifle.

I drew a second chance tag in unit 87 I feel blessed to be able to hunt Wyoming again. Lots of years there and lots of elk. My time is getting short so any tag is a blessing
