According to the regs general season for 309 started Sept 3rd and runs through Nov 27. I don't know if that is a misprint or not or if it is considered wilderness area. General rifle usually starts 22 Oct. There are some weapons restrictions in parts of 309. Either sex elk. Either sex deer either species.

329 says general season dates of 22 Oct-27 Nov. Elk is Brow tine bull or antlerless and deer is either sex either species.
