Anyone ever hunt with Steve Jones at Back Country Hunts out in New Mexico ? He seems like a decent fellow on the phone and I'm thinking about an elk hunt this fall.

Old school outfitter been around a long time. Never worked for the man but have never heard anything bad about the operation. Has been involved with NM council of guides and outfitters. Not sure what country he hunts for elk so can’t really comment on that.

I believe his elk hunts are in Lincoln National Forest.
