I'll be driving through gunnison on 9-17 and heading SW to 66 in the powderhorn wilderness.

Congratulations to your brother. I hope he makes the most of a tag that probably took 21 points, maybe more. I assume that he has already been doing lots of scouting.

probably just 590 here on a 2nd season bull tag. What started off with some nice light scouting that was supposed to get really serious in September got changed to a month at NTC in Ft Irwin. If the herds I have been following have changed up on me, I may just do a cull hunt at an outfitters. LOL, the Army has ruined EVERY hunt in the last 7 years I have been stationed here in some way or another with 2 leaves flat out canceled. Ok, enough whining. lol.

I'll be just across the ridge from you in 24, first season also.
