From what I found out when I called, they are out of NR Deer/Elk combos and deer combos.

May have elk left but they aren't done withbthe drawings.

I plan to use my Combo in 2 units, but have access to a cabin in 270. So I put in for that permit as well. Still pending on that one.

Was suprised the deer/elk combo sold out. Supposedly hasn't sold out in years. Wonder if quota was reduced due to the hard winter?

If he wanted a deer tag, he is probably SOL, that's the first NR tag to go.

so my 2017 Elk Combo was listed under unsuccessful. Now it is still there, but under Pending it says 2017 Elk Combo (released). What does that mean?

Maybe they released your refund. Did you apply for LE tag or just combo?

I got my Deer/Elk combo, I paid the extra $50 this year. I'm glad I did.

Wonder what Montana game and fish problem is? We had our nr combo in hand this time last year?

Just called Montana Game and Fish and was told it would be another 7 to 10 days before NR combos would be mailed. Looks like it will be early June before licenses is in hand.

That was my plan. Ended up with a big game combo with an elk permit chaser. Now I have to figure out where to find elk and deer in a place I've never been.
