9/6/17 Around 7:00pm a few cows, 2 bulls, 1 deer . One of the bulls was being quite aggressive raking the ground with his antlers for several minutes and bugling. As Sept 20th approaches, they will get more aggressive with more bugling and if you are lucky... fighting ! HH

7:28pm 9/6/2017 5 deer feeding now and earlier a flock of turkeys were feeding on the road on the left side. No elk viewed yet this evening. HH

9/7/17 Several turkeys this morning. Several smaller bucks, does, and 1 smaller bull elk this evening. Anyone else enjoying the Pa elk cam ? HH

Yes. Was disappointed they locked on the deer with that elk in the back field. Then left the camera locked on the place the deer went into the woods while an elk was bugling. Of well. most days they let the camera roll and we get see several elk.

WT and turkeys today, descent buck now

Several raghorns there now----the are raking their antlers on scrub oaks.

I had a feeling I was going to draw a PA elk tag this year, but it ended up being a non-res doe tag.

i would imagine nr elk tags are a tough draw,good luck on the flat top.

Nice 7X and 8 cows there right now.

Saw a cow this evening, then a bull, and some nice whitetail bucks. Heard a bunch of bugling. Left it on until after dark and looks like they have some kind of night-vision.

7:16pm 9/14/17 Nice shooter whitetail buck on the field. 7:37 pm now 2 nice bucks and couple does ! HH

Two nice bucks grazing tonight.

Been checking this out every day. Last night, there was an absolute beast in the middle of the main field with a cow. He was tearing up the turf with his big rack. Another bull showed in the back area and this one wandered off in that direction.

There were a couple others on a couple days ago, including one with a serious limp in his left hip, but big, freaky antlers. He was hollering pretty steady. That time the camera appeared to be on manual control, as the camera kept following the elk, not scanning the usual pattern.

Anyone know what they're using for the night views; IR, night vision, or just lights? Looks like b&w.

There eight out there about 30 minutes ago. The bull looked small but they were in back field and I couldn't see for sure. Deer as well.

9/24/17 Things should heat up this coming week, especially after Wed with rain and a cool down. I have seen some tremendous elk battles.... but not in this field, but other locations on Winslow Hill after the 20th of Sept. 2:10 am Sun 9/24. ... just heard a bull bugle ! HH

Those two nice Whitetail bucks are back stuffing their face with a couple of cow elk.

Blairvt: This is a back field near the newer Elk Visitor Museum on Winslow Hill in the community of Benzette Pa. From 7:00pm until dark there was a steady flow of deer, many bucks, and several elk, a few bigger bulls, coming into the field on 9/25/17. HH

That PA bull was just "chuckling", I think it's called.

Lots of good meat in that meadow!

The whitetail bucks are spending a lot of nights in that field getting themselves ready to chase the girls.

10/1/17 The elk cam seems to be down. I get a morning fog picture for 1 or 2 seconds, then fades to black, all day. HH

10/2/17 11:05 pm Nice buck out... have seen several bucks feeding this evening. Can hear a bull screaming ! Cam is working fine today. HH

8:30pm 4 bucks out in the field. Although I saw several buck fighting last week quite aggressively, tonight they were calm in a batchelor group. No elk seen tonight yet. HH

Just noticed this morning that the camera is due to go off-line sometime Tuesday. Enjoy it while you can.
