Anybody seen pics of the 400+ bull killed in KY? What a stud. Maybe someone can put up a pic.

I knew a 400”er was gonna happen soon enough.
Good for KY.

Beautiful bull, great mass!

Tough to say from the photo, but it doesn't look 400"... time will tell, and I'm often wrong smile

Look at all that crowning and dark antlers-aren't the KY elk Rocky Mountain elk?
Posted By: Timbermaster Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
I’m not seeing 400 either but the mass is incredible! Nice 7 pt!
Posted By: catbegone Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Thats a nice bull but no where near 400. Maybe 350
Posted By: GregW Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
I can see 400" but it's a picture, it's tough....

That mass is unreal and could make up for tons of tine length to get there.... Without a doubt over 350" IMO...
Posted By: Tom264 Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Probably a “gross” score not net.
But I can see near 400 with the mass, it’s unreal plus it has two extra points to score.
Posted By: TimberRunner Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Yes, I think gross
Posted By: TRnCO Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
holy big elk batman. The mass is amazing, the guy can't even get his hand around the antler between the 3rd and 4th. I can see 400", I think the mass makes everything else look relatively short.
Posted By: Brad Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Thing about mass is it doesn't help score as much as one might think... regardless, I could give a rat's rear end about B&C score. Olld, dark, heavy antlers are what float my boat... and palmation is a bonus!
Posted By: MontanaMan Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
That's a lot more than a 350 bull.................but pics are always hard to judge, especially real close up ones w/o much perspective.

But is big, nonetheless.

Don't think 400...ymmv
Posted By: roundoak Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Wisconsin DNR has been importing elk from Kentucky, it would be great if some have that bull's genes.
Posted By: salt_fork Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
There is some serious mass there. Hell of an elk, regardless of score
Posted By: Godogs57 Re: KY monster - 10/10/18
Serious mass.....wow.

Great job KY! I think it helps a bunch to have limited predators chasing after those elk, easy winters too.

that's one toad for sure........

Guys wait 15 years for a LE bull tag here in Utah

Who cares what it scores.....I'd bet he's pushing 400

amazing animal !

Great bull no matter the score, but I’m not seeing 400.

Scoring from photos is risky!

Just a dig at the clown who constantly berates hunters for dragging out deer whole (when the states laws clearly state that is what they must do) . That is a beast, I thought I saw some big ones in the Missouri Breaks on a Archery hunt but that tops them.

I hope their population explodes I would love to hunt there.

I need to revise this. He had a point being blocked in the first picture. He’s an 8 X 7, so

904+ lbs.

340-350
