After 11 years of applying for this special permit, My good shooting, and hunting pal, Doug, finally drew.

We had a blast chasing elk for three days, with plenty of frustration. Persistence paid off, and Doug made a fantastic shot with the PRC to cap off a morning we'll never forget.
