2018 elk almost ready - 24hourcampfire

Decided to go with a floor pedestal mount. I shot this bull while he was raking a tree and screaming back at my calls

if you look closely can see him piled up in background.He made it about 20 yards

Beautiful mount. My elk hunting partner killed a nice bull rubbing a tree. Got mounted on a pedestal rubbing that very same tree. It was a young ponderosa pine about 3” in diameter. He gutted, I cut the tree down and loaded it in the truck. Made a pretty mount.
