Well I shot my first ARA match this past Saturday and really enjoyed myself. I shot in factory class using my CZ457 MTR and finished 9th. There were 19 shooters in my class so I am not unhappy with my finish for my first time out. I can tell you that my wind flags need some work as they were not nearly as responsive as other flags there. Best card I had was a 2350 (out of 2500) and the worst was 2125 (just could not get a read on the switching wind)
I got to meet some very nice people and hope to shoot another one of these in the near future.

What type flags? I use Keeney.

These were some flags that I made 25 or more years ago and they were ok but the wind was really switchy and blew from every direction at one point or another during each card shot. I noticed that my flags would react, but were a few seconds behind other flags. My brain can not handle the way some guys flags were jumping around but would like mine to react a little faster than they did.
