Anyone have suggestions regarding a sturdy scope stand that is easily adjustable and will work for tabletop bench use for rifle shooting as well as for handgun shooting from the standing position? I have a setup I bought from Champions Choice some years ago that works pretty well, but I was wondering about the various products from Creedmoor Sports. What do the serious shooters use?

I use a Freeland with a swivel. But no flies on CC or Creedmoor.

I'd call that a pretty practical setup - low tech or not.

For a bench stand that clamps on the side, check out Sinclair. Sort of a high tech version of Huntsman's setup. I added a stop collar to mine, to allow the scope to pivot without sliding down the post. Also made up some extension rods for offhand.

Want to make damned sure the clamp is tight. A fallen scope is a disaster.
