Just picked up an 18" Mad Dog .277 Wolverine barrel.

I grabbed up 250 pcs. of Starline brass and some Speer 90 grn Gold Dots

Looking forward to killing some deer this fall with this set up.

Aren't you afraid it will over penetrate?!

LOL! It ought to be a guillotine on deer!

I think it will be better than a BO for sure. Should be fun to try.

I almost went that route, but after looking through various offerings I think my next will be a Yeti. Most of my shots are close so "ballistic advantage of higher BC" doesn't mean much. However a .358 Win performance level cartridge out of a carbine length barrel could be pretty handy for bigger critters. The GPC line is pretty well thought out though I don't know that there's any advantage over the 6.8 really. If longer shot's were needed their 7mmValkerie might be interesting as well.

What is the difference between the 277 Wolverine and the 270 Ingram??

I couldn't say

I did a search on the Ingram and couldn't find enough on it to get a comparison

I'd bet the Ingram is longer then the Wolverine

I have a Wolverine. I really like it. I have shot a whitetail and a mouflon ram.

I have yet to load for my 27GPC.
