Last summer I looked high and low for the HK sp5, it was completely unobtainable without paying gunbroker war prices.

WarPig responded to a WTB ad I had posted in the classifieds section with a lead to the whereabouts of one.. at not an inflated price. Just MSRP. A buddy and I were both able to grab one.

Fast forward to last week... my stamp came back and now the sp5 is looking official.

Just wanted to give WarPig a shoutout for extending the hepful tip.... there’s some real pricks here but there are some dam good people here as well. I highly doubt I would have found the gun without his help. If you ever find yourself around Ashland ky, dinner is on me.

+1 He has gotten me some very nice firearms that were extremely tough to get. I have done an extensive amount of dealings with him, (Dave). The straightest of shooters! Great person great family man great American,straight up guy!He’s also very patient with me :-) LOL

For those of use not familiar with the HK sp5, you need a stamp for?

It’s imported as a pistol...attaching a stock makes it an SBR (short barreled rifle). There’s where you need the stamp.
