Yes for sure. To go with a 22-250 or similar cartridge, you need to use a "proprietary" system or use an AR10 platform. Like I said earlier, Oly Arms made them. They called it the UMR. I've handled them, but never fired one. Nice rifles. I would have bought one, had it been a faster twist rate. Kind of fn useless with a slow twist rate.

I personally have had good luck with BCA products.
Their side charging upper, is what I just did a barrel, and bolt swap for my ARC. I'm real happy with how it shoots.
I also have several wylde barrels.

Their barrels and assembled uppers are problematic to say the least.

But, after all the issues around their practice of employing illegal immigrants, their complete disregard for custom safety on 450 Bushmaster and 458 Socom barrels and uppers(bottom center lug complete ground away on the majority of barrel extensions), I will find a different supplier.

Diamondback and Model One are a couple more I avoid. With Diamondback it's hit or miss. A buddy has a DB 6.5 Creedmoor that is a tack driver even with the suppressor, but I have swapped a few barrels that shot poorly and the replacements weren't much better.

I'd love it. The 22-250 is one of my favorite cartridges. I've never seen one that didn't shoot damn well. You are generally very limited in what bullet weight you can run. The reason I run 53's in mine..

It’s a 1-14 twist. Anything longer than a Benjamin wasp waist .22 pellet may run sideways.

22-250 AR!

The possibilities for destroying a barrel are mind boggling.
We don't have opportunities like gophers or prairie dogs,
but I can't imagine how hot a barrel would get firing a box of ammo
in 2-3 minutes in the hot sun.

I've lotsa 22-250's(and 22-250AI's and 224 Speedmires) and lotsa 224 Grendels. Hint.

Pass the 224 Grendel and hold The Fluff. None of which has a fhuqking thing to do with the sun or a lonely box of ammo. Hint.

The 1 350 Legend upper I had and several others owned by friends were a complete POS. Jammed, inaccurate, barrel looked like they were reamed with a dull drill bit when bore-scoped. When you can buy a complete upper for less than $300 that ought to tell you about the quality.

I hope they have turned things around because we need more vendors, not less. We also need more quality vendors, not cheap shady and with less than stellar customer service.

This is my rationale, if a guy on a tight budget buys his first upper and has nothing but issues with it, fights to get it running and has no support from the manufacturer, how likely is that that guy will continue down our rabbit hole?

There are hundreds of options, manufacturers and retail outlets that will bend over backwards to make sure that the customer is satisfied. They stay on top of quality, update processes and spend time and money on R&D to bring new and potentially hot new items to market.

They are not simply someone who buys a crap load of reamers and blanks and employ questionable personnel and then simply ignore customer complaints by continuing to crank out [bleep] inferior products.

Their receivers are probably manufactured elsewhere and rollmarked BCA and shipped in ready to assemble, so they are probably good to go, I don't know or care to find out.

When you can find sub $100 billet receivers shipped, that are known quality, have threaded magazine release pin holes, threaded rear takedown detent pin hole and threaded forward assist pin holes, I truck down that road.
