Well I guess you must have it by now, whaddaya think? I have one and I like it.

I haven't used the Timney AR triggers yet, but if they are like the bolt gun triggers, I wouldn't hesitate to use one.

I use CMC 2.5lb 3 Gun triggers, drop in for about $130 shipped.

I have a Trigger Tech Diamond that I am building my next rifle around.

I have sold all my AR’s. But I installed drop in triggers in them before I sold them. They were all good and so much better than the original. The last one I bought I think was a Timney and it was as good as any.

I have the Impact in my bushmaster. Breaks at 3.5-4 according to my mechanical gauge. I like it compared to factory for sure. Pretty affordable to

The Calvin Elite is very, very nice for a precision build / range toy. Much nicer than the CMC match trigger in my opinion. I haven't tried any of their other AR triggers.

I have a velocity that I really like. The owner has some
relationship to Timney I believe, for $135 Hard to go wrong.

I agree. For the money I like the Velocity a lot.

I went 40+ years, shooting my AR rifles with factory triggers. I put LaRue drop ins into a couple. Wish I had done it years earlier.

I have a 3-lb. Timney trigger in a target style AR and 4-lb. Timney triggers in a pair of AR carbines. They were easy to install and have been completely satisfactory, much superior to the original factory triggers. The Timneys even work fine for bump firing, if you want to try that.

I thought that the 3-lb. trigger was a bit light for a service style AR, so I went with the 4-lb. trigger for them, and I am glad I did.

Haven't got it yet, was backorderd apparently.

Been using a skeletonized 3-3.5# Timney single stage since they introduced them, with good, if not great results.

No blasting, just controlled fire for about 4000 rounds & it's never missed a beat.

I have a CMC 3.5 lb. in my .458 SOCOM. It seems to match that rifle well.

Look at the Hiperfire line of triggers. Their EDT is the best $100 trigger I have used & its bulletproof IMHO. On the other end of their spectrum the Eclipse mode is incredible. these work with good rimfire conversions through 7.62 set ups equally well. Also, they are proven performers in troublesome PCC platforms.

I recently purchased a PSA 3 1/2 # trigger, $89.00,shipped. So far, I am very pleased with it. The construction is very similar to the CMC unit. I put it in my S&W 15-22 which, surprisingly, requires a solid strike to be reliable. The CMC’s are always reliable in this rifle and the PSA is too. I have shot about 500 rounds since installing the trigger and it has been 100% reliable.

Same here, MBT's or Geiselle G2S's for my guns. I prefer the MBT's myself, but both are serviceable for me.

I'd like to give the CMC a whirl though, just for grins.

I've mostly used CMC's or Geissele's in my AR's. Both have been great for thousands of rounds.

Anyone use a Jard?
Posted By: RiverRider Re: Drop in Triggers - 07/23/22
I'm using a Jard single-stage adjustable in one of my ARs. It can be set for a very nice, light pull, but I've found that it can easily be set too light and not enough engagement to double and even triple occasionally. The instructions should be heeded.

Thanks, good to know

Timney Impact is a pretty good trigger. The only drawbacks is the width of the trigger as it isn't as wide as most trigger.

I sure cant find those $99 triggers at Joe Bobs must have missed the sale
Posted By: Geno67 Re: Drop in Triggers - 07/29/22
I use palmetto state polished enhanced triggers, reduced power JP springs and lop the hammers off. About 40 dollars total and a half hour of my time. People who shoot timneys swear I have one in the piece.
