For an SFAR I would like to get a 358 upper. Any ideas? RZ.

Buy a .308 and throw a 358 barrel on it.

I have the SFAR. Don't want to get rid of the 308 upper. We may all be happy to own one some day soon. Your idea is sound Tyrone. RZ

I do hear they are coming out with a 6.5cm for the SFAR. They use a proprietary barrel extension that would probably be the biggest hurdle for building a 358. I have the 16” version and really like it.

Why would I want a man bun caliber? Looking for more smack. Like the DRTs I get with my Savage 99 in 358 Win. You can get it with a 170 - 180 gr at higher velocity or a 250 gr RN at a medium velocity. Good luck. I wouldn't mind a 250 Savage in an AR 15 though! RZ.
