Is anyone making .400 Legend AR uppers?
Bear Creek makes 350 Legend. My son has one and it'll kill deer if that's what you're using it for.
I believe the 400 Legend is based on the 7.62x39 head diameter case, so this is the largest case that can fit in the AR15 platform but may be too large in regards to bolt strength. Maybe a hybrid between the AR15 and AR10, like the CMMG 7.62x39 rifle which uses a bolt larger than the AR15 might make the best platform for the 400 Legend.

It's based of the 6.8 spc, so it has a smaller diameter.
Mad Dog Weapons Systems (MDWS) makes a 40 cal cartridge and they also make the Fat Cat line of cartridges based on larger cases like the 308 Win shortened, for the AR-15 platform. They open and enlarge the ejection port and use bolts with a reamed out bolt face, making the AR-15 bolt face large enough to accept a .473 cartridge base. They make some "interesting" stuff. They also have some oversized AR-15 upper use, type cartridges as well.
A little more power.....cars, boats and guns.
