I really saw them for sale today. They have their magazines blocked to 10 rds. and pinned in place to make them acceptable to the AG's office. You load them by rotating the upper and pushing the ammo into the magazine.
I think they are made and modified by Vulcan arms. Suppose to be well made, etc. Anybody know anything about these ? Are they any good.
Lots of models for sale. Standard 20" barreled, heavy SS barreled target models and the collapsable stock 16" barreled models. All of them in the $1000 - $1100 range. E
what are the limitations in California?

No removable mags?

I wouldn't shell out that kind of money for a fixed mag AR variant.

aren't vulcan and hesse one and the same? cast lowers and poor quality control??
I wouldn't follow the rules. As long as you are not taking it to a public range I would get a real AR. You might as well buy a single shot handi-rifle for $275 if you are going to get a fake AR.
The rifle can be reconverted to a removable magazine model if I move from California. E
