Anyone have experience with uppers from BCA?

Just received my 300 Blackout 15"light weight keymod 16" ar-15 upper today. Included was 3 pieces of Rem 223 cal brass in an envelope that had a card stamped "ACCEPTED" inspector MM. If they think that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, it doesn't. I emailed their customer service asking if they wanted me to believe they shot these 223 rounds thru this 300 Blackout barrel. I know 223 cal will not chamber all the way in a 300 blackout. Guess their quality control might be questionable. Tom

Well, that could mean exactly what you think it does, or it could just be a mix-up in the shipping department.

How does it look? Are you happy with the build?

Thanks.

Or it could mean that cheap parts from companies looking to cash in on the once thriving AR market are just what they are...

Someone with a.223 is asking the same question about the 300 Blackout brass that came with theirs.

I have a BCA side-charger that I picked up not too long ago when they were running a deal on the upper with a BCG. I stuck a Wylde barrel on it and put it on top of a Ruger lower. Fits almost perfectly....no gap, no rattle. The finish is fine...it's very close to the Ruger. I wasn't sure I'd like a side-charger, but it's fast becoming one of my favorites. I don't have a whole lot of rounds through it (~200), but so far, so good.
