anyone shot any of this? Compare to standard 55 grain fmj accuracy or better? I also see magtech sells it in bulk but not sure that is as good.
The Razor Core is for all intents and purposes is Israeli cloned MK262. Most good guns will be between 1.5-2moa for 10 rounds with it. With most lots of real BH loaded MK262 Mod 1, most good guns will be 1.2-1.7moa.

The IMI is 5.56mm pressure spec- and on the higher end at that. I have zero qualms shooting it, but understand 223 chambers, hot temps, and tolerance stacking have lead to a Lot# that popped primers in some guns.

5.56mm and Wylde chambers and you are good.

they offer a 69 grain smk in the IMI Razorcore as well, its tempting as my last box of WW loaded 69 grain matchkings shot very well. Looks like magtech has an offering as well in 77 grain.

one issue I see is that if I rezero for 77's my standard fare 55's will not hit where they should!

Hard to say, I've a couple of guns that shoot IMI M193, my hand loaded 55 gr NBT's and my 77 gr SMK's within an inch of each other out to 100 yards.

and if not what TWR said, those knobs move... write the zero down for both and change as needed/if needed. Simple.

On the other hand for my uses the 55 grain is probably fine for half the price

I've been using it for quite a while as the only factory loaded 77 gr ammo that I routinely buy.

I agree with what Formy said above, depending on how accurate your particular rifle is.............not much real practical difference to the BH ammo unless you are strictly paper-punching. If I'm interested in better accuracy, then I shoot handloads.

Magtech 77 gr SMK's loaded 5.56 ammo is reputed to be very good also but I have not personally shot it, but likely I will soon as I can get that for about 10-12 cents a round cheaper than the IMI.

I've been using both the IMI 77gr SMK's & the 55 gr FMJ stuff with absolutely no issues; ditto for some MEN 55 gr FMJ as well, all loaded to 5.56 specs.

the MEN 56 grain ammo shoots good in my guns, I just need another case of practice ammo and the IMI 193 did not shoot as well, but then who has the MEN right now? I am sure the 77 grain is nice if you need it, however in the southeast we get few 500 yard shots.

I don't know anyone who has the MEN stuff in stock right now.............seems to come & go.

though 77s give you an advantage at 200 and out... 300 is easily noticed.....
