What are you all using on your AR's? I've used Surefire X300's and Streamlight TLR-1's mounted at 12 O'clock in the past, but am looking for something a bit more robust with the possibility of a remote switch and constant-on capability.

I like the X300U at 12:00 in front of a folding iron sight. I also like the V-Tac mount that puts a surefire at 11:00. either of those seem to work well.

I have wondered this same thing. I have a Crimson Trace Linq on on one of my rigs, god-dammit if it doesn't work well. Cost is the only thing keeping me from a second. Current thought is to get a Inforce WML and figure out how to offset mount it on a Sig MCX.

I have a TRL-1 HL on my H&K P30 nightstand gun. It is also the issued light on our department sidearm (also a H&K p30, but I had mine first ). I really like them.

I am using an Elzetta mount, and a Surefire light. The light is to the right of the sight tower.
