Anyone got first hand experience with Rainier rifles? Found one locally that I really like but have never heard of them, I looked them up on like and they seem to be pretty well respected.

Any info would be great.

Thanks

I haven't purchased a complete Rainier rifle but have purchased boatload of parts from them and they have been A++! !

Do you mean Rainier Arms? If so they are absolutely wonderful rifles made by great guys. They are about 10 minutes from my home. I currently have atleast 6 rifles either made by them or the majority of parts are theirs. Friends probably have another 30 of them and never heard of an issue. Their new gen2 ambi upper/lower set kicks ass.

Never had a complete rifle from Rainier but have used lots of their parts on various rifles. Their stuff is good quality, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of it.

I have an upper they put together for me, it's my most accurate AR15.

I bought a barrel from them for one of my ARs a few years back. It's very accurate. It easily outshot the Rock River Arms Varmint A4 that I owned and later sold.

That's kind of hard to believe. That RRA Varmint has been the most accurate rifle I've ever had. But maybe the quality has gone down a little in the fifteen years since I bought it. But if it's true, then Rainier will be the next barrel on my list.

It's good that you are so happy with your RRA rifle. Then again, perhaps your definition of an accurate rifle is not the same as mine. However, since my RRA Varmint A4 wasn't as accurate as I wanted it to be, I sold it.

I hope to put the deal together on the Rainier this week. I’ll ring it out with some high power glass and let you know what the accuracy is like. Everything I have found online substantiate the accuracy claims

Gun is as advertised. Problem is a guy I have been chasing for years to sell me his trap gun gave me the green light to buy it so I may need to turn this back to cash.
Its accurate as hell with everything I ran through it, WAY more accurate then any other AR I have owned.
