I bought this complete upper and put on my Rock River lower. Went to range weds and shot 45rds. This calibur is so much fun to shoot and man what a hole it makes lol.
The upper Comes with 15" MLOK RAIL, 1:24 TWIST RATE, 18" 4150 CHROME MOLY VANADIUM STEEL BARREL. I put a Hawke muzzleloader scope on it since the ballistics will be very close to match its marked retical. Once I got it dialed in shot several 100yd 1" or less groups and 2 3.5" 300yd groups each 3 shots. Then for fun using the the scope marks tried for the 500yds 20" gong and bang 4 shots 3 hits wind got me on 2nd shot. The gun finish is nice but I wouldnt say its same level as some high end makes, but certainly nice looking and it functioned perfectly and very happy with accuracy and function. The gun will certainly give me a nice option for hunting bear, elk, etc. and I'm sure crush a whitetail or antelope. I was not expecting the good grouping at 300yds I got. Was shooting the 250gr custom hornady loads, chrono showed 2185 fps avg. Target is 1/2" squares. Aiming where black bar hits diamond.

Its was definitely fun to shoot. And should just hammer animals. With my brake it kicks about like a 308 to me.

Thats a good deal on a 450 upper! I paid a couple hundred more for a 20" Bushmaster a couple years ago. Tempted to pick up a 16"
