Do you find it useful to run AR magazines with windows, or not? Pros/cons of each. Is there a drawback to a window other than higher price?
I don't use them. Never found a need.
Not trying to be a dick but i am focusing on the target and only worry about the mag when the bolt locks open. I picked up window less Pmags yesterday for $8.20 each minus tax.
Well, one fellow who had completed some sort of 'tactical' course said at a LGS that he didn't want the windows because the windows were shiny and might reflect light and reveal your position.

Just so you know.
Mine are all windowless but I bought a bunch of Pmags for my new Grock and they don't have witness holes like every other pistol mag I've got. I find that it bothers me a little bit but I've never worried about an AR mag. The Windows could be a useful feature in some instances.
Strictly a gimmick, but the gadget-oriented will find an imagined need for a magazine window.
I like to be able to see how many are left.

Don't own a single mag with a window though.
