dumped the magpul stuff off my cheapo calling AR. I like my other Ace stocks, so I slapped one on the DPMS and added a freefloat handguard. Mucho betterer....

A freefloat handguard makes a world of difference.

Put one on my colt rifle and the groups shrank a lot.

Makes one look like a genius.

From Doublestar. Entry length. But the 1/2" recoil pad is a tad short, so I put on a 1"er, and a FDE foam tube cover. My other Ace stocks had the black foam, so I just shot them with khaki krylon....

Kilt a skwirkle yesterday, swapped out the S&W 15-22's cheese-grater quad rail for a freefloat tube today. If any of you's wanna change your 15-22's over, I'll loan out the barrel nut wrench and vice clamps so all you have to buy is the tacticool 22 barrel nut.....

Thanks. I like the looks, and the handling, a lot more than the other handguards. Wish I'da sprung years ago....

What's the length of pull with the 1" pad included?

11 3/4 ". just right to keep your nose off the charging handle....
