My last government issue rifle was an M16A2 with iron sights. I know the Matech back up sights have been around forever but i have never used one.



Looking for a decent BUIS that won't cost me my left nut. Good, bad or indifferent what has been your experience with it.

It works. It’s fairly durable. It’s more complicated than newer model BUIS and than many need from a backup iron. I had several, but don’t know where they went.

edit - never mind, was thinking flat top and missed where you said M16A2, sorry.
