I'd start with a load that is sure to be supersonic and work down to just subsonic. You should be able to hear the difference if you don't have a chrono. Starting low and working up might get you a bullet stuck in the barrel. Not fun.

just loaded some 150g bt's over 19.6 g of 1680. not subs though.
