I'm thinking about getting a wood stock for a TC Encore rifle. The stocks made by High Plains Gunstocks in Lincoln, NE, look good. Is anyone familiar with that company? Stock quality? Customer service? Thanks!

I have one and it's very good. I didn't have any issues with quality or customer service.

I had their carbine stock and forend on a G2 contender. Had a minor issue, can’t remember what it was. They resolved it to my liking. Nice stock, but I sold the gun several years ago. I would buy again if looking for a contender carbine stock.

Have one of their fore ends on my 20 Vartarg. Next T/C build I will use a complete set from High Plains.

Have a couple of them for Contender and Encore. They are good stocks.
