One of the many things I like about most break action single shot rifles and shotguns is the ease of removing the barrel to make a compact package to carry and store. Some of 'em are also "switch barrel" guns, and I like that too.

How about the "new" Henry break action single shots? Are the barrels easily removable and remountable? I don't mind the slightly more complex takedown of the T-C actions (RIP), but I prefer the quicker takedown of the traditional Savage/Winchester/H&R etc. I don't mind carrying a screwdriver, if that's needed as with the T-Cs.

Anybody know how the Henrys work? Their literature online is curiously silent on this point (or I'm not as good a reader as I thought....).
They are very similar to the TC in that you remove one pin to separate the barrel from the receiver. However, while the the forend can be removed it is not as easily removable.

This guy shows how it's done starting at 2:15.

Here's a link from the Henry website showing the complete disassembly, which also includes taking the barrel and receiver apart starting at 1:05. Click on "Disassembly" just below the video to skip the preliminary vid.
