I have a used Ruger 1-A in .257 Roberts I would like to sell, but have no idea of what the current market value may be. Have gotten a lot of interest from potential buyers, but now it's time to figure out what it is worth.
Rifle has around 200 rounds thru it, is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings whatsoever. It shoots accurately with my Barnes TTSX handloads in particular. Any comments on value would be appreciated.

If you are serious about selling this, please post an ad in the classifieds. I’m definitely interested! If your decided price is too high, you’ll probably have a pile of ooh’s and ahh’s, but it will sit. You can always drop your price a bit for the people who are close to your figure from the start. If it’s a reasonable price from the start and it’s in the condition you say it’s in…she won’t last long at all. I’d almost guarantee that!

I am not a card carrying member of the Ruger No1 fan club. I kept two out of 4 purchased over the years. Like every model Ruger I ever owned multiple examples - performance varied. They are a beautiful gun.
If, this was a local sale and the seller meet me at the club of his choice and he put 5 shots in 1 inch at 100 yards, i would be a buyer and I dont even like 257. A local sale from an honest seller who will demo the gun is a big plus. My 2c, keep it local.
a 1-A in .257 would be nice. I had a older 1-B with a red pad. It shot really well but with a scope was about 10#.
