This would seem like an easy item to find, but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

I have Scout v2 pistol in 6.5 grendel with a 14" barrel. I want to add a permanent muzzle extension to make it a 16 1/4" barrel. I don't want a break or flash hider. If the factory tread protector was 2 3/4" inches long and pinned and welded, that would be exactly what I am trying to accomplish.

Anyone know if such an item exists? Source?

I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to do this, but I never got any leads on what I wanted, even on the 6.5 grendel and CVA forums.

Not wanting to ever get sideways with the ATF in case the pistol brace rules change. I added a pinned and welded muzzle device. I couldn't find one the right diameter and length that I wanted but I finally found a longer one and cut it off.

Exactly what I wanted. 16 1/2" barrel that I can use as a pistol or a legal length carbine with a butt stock. Note: Those are mock holes on the extension. I didn't want the muzzle blast from a ported device. The overall length is 30.5"

Surprised that thread works. Most CVA are M18x1 metric

I'm not sure when they made a change, but their 2022 catalog lists 5/8-24 for most centerfire rifles.

Yeah, their site and catalog is not real clear. Looks like they went 5/8 on the Cascade bolt and smaller single shot calibers. The 444, 450, and 45-70 probably still are metric as before, since they don't list a size for those.
